Project Overview

Emergency Assistance for Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (EARR) airport component programme from Asian Development Bank (ADB) intends to support the Indonesian Government to rehabilitate and reconstruct Mutiara Sis Al Jufri Airport infrastructure affected by the earthquake and tsunami that hit Central Sulawesi in September 2018. This project aims to restore aspects of Safety, Security, Service, and Compliance at Mutiara Sis Al Jufri Airport. Based on the agreement between the Government of Indonesia and ADB on May 23, 2019, the loan value for the Ministry of Transportation is 109.75 million USD, and the allocation for the Directorate General of Civil Aviation is USD 30.47 million. In the process, planning is carried out that accommodates the demands of airport service users based on the development of the master plan. It is hoped that the results of the rehabilitation and reconstruction will add value to the visual aspect and earthquake of the airport in the future.

Legal Aspect

The legal aspect refers to laws and regulations, Presidential Regulations, Ministerial Regulations, Director General decisions, Indonesian National Standards, International regulations and other relevant regulations, ADB Project Administration Manual (PAM) loans, safeguard documents, loan negotiations between Government of Indonesia and Asian Development Bank.
